"Anima-Cloud"
"Anima-Cloud" is an interactive sculptural installation that observes movement in the environment with programmed sensors. It responds to Wicker Park pedestrians in real-time with animated light circuited within the sculptural objects. The passersby create "wind" in the weather simulation, causing affects dependent on several interpretable variables.
X-band range finders are used in order to observe the environment. There are two focused on the street side and an additional two receiving data from the inside of the store. Each sensor is assigned to a cloud. Thus giving a 360 degree observation space displayed within the cloud-scape.
