Working with materials and ideas tactically and conceptually develops a specific aptitude towards creating the research necessary for innovation.

Originally as a static Artist I began to observe my attention, my intentions, and the break between the two when I saw how my work was received. I took note of what was lost in translation, and began my journey to challenge and design “modern art”. I spent many years studying dynamic systems theory, integrative materials, and technology; I cultivated a deep appreciation towards charging a connection with interaction, relationships and the environment. As a result of this exploration I started a company and creative identity named Emmett Cobb LLC, a multi-dimensional, cross-disciplinary firm that collaborates to design and manufacture art objects, design products, interactive and functional installations which seek to be apart of revolutionizing the way we use energy, capture it, and interact with our surrounding space.

It is our mission to present ideas that explore and navigate with a lens keenly interested in language, associations, connectivity, and a frequency we can collectively create in our work.

Project media genre's include projects with:

Creating visual and interactive kinetic phenomenon. These projects integrate dynamic systems for experimental, responsive, elemental, ambiant, and abstract sensory objects/structures. Using sensors, microprocessors, hardware and software.
