Inspiration comes from interaction; observing the dynamic relationships between people and their environment.
The relationship between ourselves and the space around us composes a particular essence of who we are. Working with materials and ideas tactically and conceptually develops a specific aptitude towards creating the research necessary for innovation.
With a background informed by the study of dynamic systems in the H.P.A axis, sculpture - fine art, integrative materials, and technology; I cultivated a deep appreciation towards charging a connection with interaction, relationships and the environment. As a result of this exploration I started a company and creative identity named Emmett Cobb, a multi-dimensional, cross-disciplinary firm that collaborates to design and manufacture art objects, products, interactive and functional installations which seek to be apart of revolutionizing the way we use energy, capture it, and interact with our surrounding space.
My work focuses on reinventing space, function and form with freshened conceptual principles that innovate the environment. It is our mission to explore and navigate with a particular lens, interested in language, associations, connectivity, and a frequency we all collectively share.
This vision is heavily reliant on new approaches towards manifesting projects. Implementing traditional and non-traditional techniques, integrative materials, aesthetics, concepts, and engineering in order to reveal the union of art and science.
